How many synthetic elements are there in the periodic table?

There are 24 synthetic elements in the periodic table. These elements have atomic numbers ranging from 95 to 118 and include elements such as Americium (Am), Curium (Cm), Einsteinium (Es), Fermium (Fm), and Oganesson (Og).

While atomic numbers 43 (technetium), 61 (promethium), 85 (astatine), 93 (neptunium), and 94 (plutonium) were initially produced artificially, trace amounts of these elements have been discovered in nature. Thus, they are not regarded as synthetic.
