Farsightedness is also called:

Hyperopia is the medical term for farsightedness, where distant objects are clear but nearby objects are blurry. Hyperopia occurs when the eyeball is too short or the cornea has too little curvature, causing light to focus behind the retina rather than directly on it. People with hyperopia have difficulty focusing on close objects, but distant objects appear sharp. It can often be corrected with convex lenses or refractive surgery.
